I’m not a venture capitalist, so I don’t know how much $27.5 million means in terms of all that, but apparently, Pinkberry has scored that much from investors. The company’s just two years old, but they want to expand and conquer. Woo ooo! No more standing in lines out the door!
David Chang is Chef of the Year September 18, 2007
Celebrated New York chef David Chang won the Bon Appétit award for Chef of the Year (see proof and bio below). Chang won the Best New Chef award last year from Food + Wine. He told them last year that his ingredient obsession was pork fat, and that “There’s pork fat in just about everything at Momofuku.” Drool (guess what I had for a snack yesterday — bacon and rice. We’re soulmates!!)
If any of you are in the NYC area, or are thinking of visiting, make a stop at either of his Momofuku joints. Worth the trip.
