WTF is Wetness Protection? November 13, 2007

Does Secret have some kind of Wetness Protection Program for people whose sweat glands are overactive? Put those nasty, sweaty girls into hiding! Give them new names! Never put them in light clothing! Honestly though, are women really that sweaty? Why do we need “Clinical Strength” anti-perspirant?

    Hey Hot & Nerdy,
Yup, some of us sweat more than we want to. I know it’s gross but its a fact of life. Secret Clinical claims to offer wetness protection but it doesn’t work for gals like myself who sweat more than I would like to talk about(like a man). My product of choice is Certain Dri Antiperspirant. It formulated with 12% aluminum chloride and is the number recommended antiperspirant by derms for treating excessive perspiration. I should know, I’ve seen lots of doctors and tried lots of products. Plus, it’s cheap $5.50 and only needs to be applied 2 or 3 times a week. Anyway, so there’s your “sweat 101” lesson of the day! And by the way, the commercials for CD are a bit outdated but the product works!
    Later! Nicole

    Hey Nicole,

Thanks for that nice note. It was very educational. I was just being silly in my post — I hope I didn’t offend!
